Roundtable on AI regulation @ House of Lords

Decorte CEO Roeland Decorte was invited to the House of Lords at the UK Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 22nd of May 2024 to speak at a roundtable on AI regulation.

The roundtable in question focused on AI policy, and how a potential successive Labour Party government can avoid regulatory pitfalls and encourage innovation. Gathering policy makers and entrepreneurs, the roundtable was chaired by the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, specifically Chief Policy Strategist Benedict Macon-Cooney, and organised by The Entrepreneurs Network.

Decorte’s views on AI regulation have been recently published in UKTN, the Financial Times' Sifted, Startups.co.uk, Startups Magazine, while Decorte Future Industries has appeared in The Times, Fortune and elsewhere.

It was quite a busy day for Decorte, giving comments to the Guardian on the way to the roundtable, publishing another op-ed in Startups Magazine later that day, and being asked to comment for startups.co.uk following Rishi Sunak’s announcement of the upcoming elections.
